The 2008 Look Keo Sprint pedal shares a lot of similarities with its bigger brother the Look Keo Carbon Pedal. Both pedals use the improved cleat system, low stack height, composite bodies and similar cromoly axels. The 2008 Look Keo Sprint loses some features to meet its lower price point. The Sprint pedal uses one sealed bearing instead of 2 sealed bearings found on the Look Keo Carbon. As well the stack height is slightly greater on the Sprint pedal. Keo Sprint has a stack height of 16.5mm vs. 15.7mm on the Keo Carbon. For 2008, Look offers their pedals with the new Look Keo Grip Cleat. Whats great about the new Look Keo Grip Cleat? It now has rubber pads to help stop you from slipping when walking. This improvement further reduces the need to use cleat covers - which some of us here have troubles putting on but we wont name names. The Keo Grip cleat still uses the same shape, Teflon, and memory tab so its backwards compatible with older Keo pedals. The Sprint shares many of the similar characteristics of its Keo Carbon brother, while hitting a slightly lower price point. Perfect for sport riding or a second bike. less
