There are various ways of powering your calculator. Solar energy powered calculators have a small solar panel that generates energy when there is sunlight. There are also calculators that use batteries in conjunction with solar power, or just batteries alone. Finally, there are calculators that plug into an electrical outlet through an AC cord.
