Besides making beautiful bamboo cutting boards, Totally Bamboo uses bamboo to make fabulous bamboo bowls and servingware. The two-tone color is due to the processing of the bamboo. The light color is the natural color of bamboo. The dark portion of the bamboo bowl is achieved by steaming the bamboo, bringing out the natural sugars in the bamboo, carmelizing it. This color is permanent and will not fade or wash out. The bamboo bowl is very sturdy, yet lighter than a wooden counterpart.Totally Bamboo's products are best for a variety of reasons.
